Astonishing. The Press Association understands Essex Police did not tell Nigel Farage, or any other Clacton candidate, not to attend the count. This is after after his and Reform UK's claim Essex Police advised him against it due to a "credible threat".

@simonpegg.bsky.social The Affinity Suite www.affinity.studio is an excellent choice - have been using for years (and now free!). Also have a look at irisphotos.app for organising and aphera.co to replace a Lightroom workflow - not exact replacements but good.
I just found out that it's okay to look straight at the eclipse if you're wearing Meta glasses. Spread the word 🥰
Looking forward to Jono's webinar - I'm sure it won't be eclipsed by anything.
There now follows a party election broadcast by the Count Binface Party, And if I do say so myself, it's a banger. #VoteBinface #Clacton

Brilliant letter from Stuart Thompson to Jeremy Clarkson about his comments that benefit claimants should write weekly thank you letters to tax payers detailing how they spend their benefits each week.
WARNING.- HOAX.- SCAM !!! If someone knocks at your door and says they're carrying out a survey and need to see your bum, DON'T SHOW THEM. It's a SCAM. They just want to see your bum. I wish somebody had warned me, I feel so stupid.
Have been on an exciting saga today. Went to Canterbury and visited the Smallfilms collection in the Beaney museum to see the wonderful illustration work of the late Peter Firmin and then went to view his work that’s being auctioned soon.

Made some changes to my sites framework which prompted some other changes and now I have secondary content links that are topical and it looks like it works well for some people who want to binge on a topic! #11ty #seo www.simoncox.com/short-articl...

I heard again the other day about the 5 second render timeout limit in Google's web rendering service. It's not real, but because of how the WRS works, it's understandable where that figure comes from. I did a test case and wrote it up here: tamethebots.com/blog-n-bits/...
There's no 5 second render limit in Google, but I can see why you might think there is.
A fairly common belief is that Google stop rendering pages after 5 seconds, I did some testing to show that's not true, but why your measurements might be lying to you to make you think so, because time in the web rendering service is artificial.

Hello! Long time no post. 🌸 Here's some new work from my residency at the Mokuhanga School in Karuizawa, Japan. This woodblock print features the sumo referee's 'gunbai' fan combined with peonies, my favourite flower. Signed limited edition of 10. www.geridrawsjapan.com/art-prints-m...
I refactored the framework for the articles on my site as the new Content Evaluator tool from SEOtesting.com pointed out to me that the other article links were tucked in the article tag - i moved them to an aside tag and, while in there, added a filter so the other articles are topic relevant!
