I flippin' love Elusive Butterfly - nothing has ever sounded like it before or since. Radio 2 used to play Bob Lind's original a lot in the 90s. Val changes one line to 'Through the long-abandoned ruins of someone I used to be', which is possibly even stranger than Lind's original lyric.

The counter window in the Post Office appears very briefly in the first episode, but is then completely missing for the rest of Series 1. It finally reappears in the two 1991 special episodes. Perhaps the animators found it difficult to film around?

The theme tune to The Archers. Has there ever been a complete recording of My Native Heath? I only know of recordings of 3 of its 4 movements.
This is fantastic, especially the repro House Of Commons corridor - a pleasantly surprising number of these shows haven't been wiped too!
