This is great advice! I got diagnosed as autistic at 45 and it was *extremely* helpful understanding and reframing some of the lingering challenges that I could never explain. Has been life changing

Spoke to several people at Develop who have recently discovered that they are neurodiverse. Good for them! Basically though, if you are a videogame programmer and have had difficulties with some/many aspects of life since you were a kid, you probably are *something*. It's worth looking into it.

Just wrapped playing through Twilight Princess - never played it fully through the first time on GC (was still mourning the loss of Wind Waker's aesthetic 😭) so was such a treat to play through a new (to me) classic Zelda. The dungeon design is *magnificent*.

Hello! Pitches for September's PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct have been open since April, but as you're all excited about the PC Gaming Show last Sunday, now seems like a good time to remind people you can tell me about your unannounced games, and if they're a good fit for the show, we'll announce 'em! Some tips: - If you're looking for an editorial slot, the best time to get in touch with us is before you've announced: most often we're looking for something new and cool for our audience with the limited amount of editorial space that we have. Often, this means "new unannounced game." - We'll need to see some b-roll of the game: we don't take any game editorially without seeing some footage of the game in action. Doesn't matter how early along the game is, we want to see something to see how it might look. We'll also accept a rough trailer cut, but recognise it 's very rare that people have that. - It's better for us to know sooner rather than later: every show I get a good pitch for the show from someone 2-3 days before the show itself. We prerecord (sorry to ruin the movie magic) so it's better to let us know in advance. We're closing our editorial pitches at the end of June and even if you're secretly working on Half Life 3, we're going to struggle to fit you in editorially after that point, so it's likely to be a commercial conversation after that point.
