Got more serious about what I was eating recently as I've been losing weight, but it still blows my mind when you can eat a normal sized chunk of protein and never be hungry again. I had a chicken wrap at 6pm! It's 2am and I can't sleep because I'm uncomfortably full!

Turns out the rumours of my skipping Gamescom this year were greatly exaggerated. I'll be there after all. If you're working on a cool unannounced PC game, or you're a publisher looking to talk about your upcoming slate, I'd love to catch up. Email me at Jake.Tucker@Futurenet.com.

Can't sleep in this heat and usually being unable to sleep makes me depressed buuuuut it's hard to be depressed when being up late means watching the USA get a karmic beatdown. Dear me.

Hey, pitches for September's PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct are open, and we're looking for cool unannounced games to unveil to the world for the first time. If you've got a game you think might be a good fit, give me an email on Jake.Tucker@Futurenet.com

Hello! Pitches for September's PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct have been open since April, but as you're all excited about the PC Gaming Show last Sunday, now seems like a good time to remind people you can tell me about your unannounced games, and if they're a good fit for the show, we'll announce 'em!

Some tips:
- If you're looking for an editorial slot, the best time to get in touch with us is before you've announced: most often we're looking for something new and cool for our audience with the limited amount of editorial space that we have. Often, this means "new unannounced game."

- We'll need to see some b-roll of the game: we don't take any game editorially without seeing some footage of the game in action. Doesn't matter how early along the game is, we want to see something to see how it might look. We'll also accept a rough trailer cut, but recognise it 's very rare that people have that.

- It's better for us to know sooner rather than later: every show I get a good pitch for the show from someone 2-3 days before the show itself. We prerecord (sorry to ruin the movie magic) so it's better to let us know in advance. We're closing our editorial pitches at the end of June and even if you're secretly working on Half Life 3, we're going to struggle to fit you in editorially after that point, so it's likely to be a commercial conversation after that point.

Trying to spend less time multitasking and more time paying full attention to stuff. Part of this is watching a TV show at the end of each night to relax. Chose The Pitt. I have not relaxed.

I increasingly hide away from The Internet these days because I am a delicate man, but it means a lot that so much of you watch the PC Gaming Show and enjoy it. Tomorrow is my birthday (i'll be 37, death approaches) so will now be retreating from the internet again until I have a TV opinion to air.

First Light is a pretty competent action game, but I am flabberghasted by those perfect scores. And I'm a Bond superfan! I'm an hour in and if I have to do another quick-time event I'm going to cry
