You need to try Ship Shaper demo, man. Super fun to mess around and it lets you export the 3D model and even use it for printing, no copyright. Gotta love indie devs. . . . (on the left, my design, on the right, what the demo lets you make)

I love this thread from Seth- the deep capitalistic shift towards “content” does give the upcoming generations some rather hollow examples of what being an artist entails- but the attention economy is ruthless

"Art" these days means very different things to people. For many, it's something they can contribute to the TTRPG / video game / animation / tv industries - NOT something to express their humanity and POV. They don't want to talk about the human condition, they want to get paid to paint dragons.

This is exciting! I got nominated as best pencilier at Ringo awards this year. I'm blown away, totally shocked and stoked at the same time. To be listed next to some of my favourite artists is such an honour.

Tryna give FF's "generic" assets a common design language suggesting even the combat vehicles aren't made for proper warfare (soft edges, exposed fragile-looking greebles). Figure they're all from the same manufacturer, either some alt-history spin on an existing defense company or just made up.

"Griz Grobus and the tale of Azkon's Heart" by @simonroy.bsky.social Jess Pollard & Sergey Nazarov was an interesting change of tune after "Habitat" & "A star called the Sun". Two intertwined stories, of which only one is set in the reality of the "Habitat"-universe. I liked it, would recommended.

From page one "A star called The Sun" by @simonroy.bsky.social with Sergei Nazarov and Drew Shields just bursts with creativity and enthusiasm for the universe it shows us glimpses into. I already read "Habitat" multiple times ... And will now have to re-read it again I guess. Absolutly recommended!
