Mixed feelings about today’s Brooklyn Vegan layoffs. Obviously sympathize with anyone who lost a job, but also thinking about how the site aggregated some of my tweets from concerts (without asking, of course) instead of paying for reporting on what happened at them.

Jene’s grandmother isn't eating. She has had dementia for a while now and it seems likely that she won’t live for much longer. Jene and I have rushed upstate to see her and maybe say goodbye.
