Really great event earlier this week by Collective Encounters about what health and arts could look like if disabled expertise was centered. I learnt so much, and will definitely be talking crip time theory with my supervisor!

A large screen showing a slide in light green with yellow, orange and white text. Title reads "Disabled-led creative health open space event" Below text reads "When we center disabled expertise, how does the landscape of health and art change? Below the text is a blue swirl pattern and the Collective Encounters logo.

Super interesting evening at the Queer Data Showcase! Really cool to hear people talk about data in ways that break that traditional-acadmia-research box, despite being very much an in-the-box guy myself 😂

A screen reading "Queer data showcase" in vibrant writing at the front of a room. Several people can be seen sitting looking at the screen.

“I just want to go for a wee and get out again,” says Chay Brown. “But going in there worried — is someone going to say something? — it’s not nice, and that’s why a lot of people have changed their behaviour”. thebristolcable.org/2026/06/i-do...

For clarity: I'm not looking at trying to replace trans healthcare! Trans healthcare is great! But I know its not always accessible or even wanted by some TNB people, so my aim is to see what works (and what doesn't) if you're on a wait list, struggling to access, or just not interested.

I'm recruiting! Super excited to talk to people about the little ways they cope with dysphoria, feel free to email or DM with questions 😀
