I'm very sorry to hear about the passing of veteran environmental campaigner, Irish Times journalist and good soul Frank McDonald. I eagerly devoured his book 'The Destruction of Dublin' (1985) and newspaper articles when I was young, learned a lot, and have remained a life-long admirer ever since.

I don't live in the UK but my impression (from mostly afar) is that the people who vote for Farage don't give a single shit about the money/funding stuff. They think he got one over on the system and on people they hate. And they already knew he was corrupt anyway
