📌All the bigots asking why the mayor of New York City is presiding over the remembrance of the 9/11 attacks, need to shut up and explain to us why they support the traitor who attacked us Jan. 6.

The reason why they think their voters are this dumb and gullible is because they are.
Common buzzards. Six of them in the sky together at one point, along with a red kite, and a kestrel! They were hanging around one spot near Kildale for over an hour, perhaps catching flying insects of some kind? #birds @teesbirds.bsky.social @northyorksbirds.bsky.social
Oystercatchers live on coasts and shorelines worldwide. Because young oystercatchers lack the strength and skill to pry open hard-shelled prey like mussels, clams, and limpets, both parents continue feeding them for up to 6 months while they master these complex feeding techniques.
You know who actually did show up at Ground Zero? Canadian emergency rescue crews.

She lost every single one of her puppies last time she gave birth. Luckily this time we found her in time. She has all the support she needs now. I called her Katie Taylor for the weekend that is in it ❤️
The two parts of An Irish Atlantic Rainforest – the tv version – are available to watch on @rte.ie Player anytime, if you're anywhere in Ireland (including the North). I'm over the moon with the documentary, and have had nothing but overwhelmingly positive feedback from all who've seen it.
The man who beat two female protesters with his cane at the Reform conference has been identified as Stephen Cooling - it’s actually there on his conference tag - former UKIP candidate for Erdington and now member of Reform’s Sutton Coldfield branch. Presumably West Mids Police have enough info now

I'm very sorry to hear about the passing of veteran environmental campaigner, Irish Times journalist and good soul Frank McDonald. I eagerly devoured his book 'The Destruction of Dublin' (1985) and newspaper articles when I was young, learned a lot, and have remained a life-long admirer ever since.

Apparently people are sharing this far and wide on social media, which I think is horrible. This could cripple ICE operations. PLEASE do not share this.
I remember when this was nothing but sterile wet grassland. Now it's a diverse, thriving ecosystem, getting steadily richer year on year. Despite having actually lived it, even I find the transition hard to believe. To add joy and wonder to your life, there is no better route than rewilding.

Freddie Mercury, one of the greatest vocalists and performers of our times, was born on this day 80 years ago. He died aged 45. AIDS not only took our friends and lovers, it robbed us of a generation of artists and the beautiful, extraordinary work they may otherwise have given us.

I don't live in the UK but my impression (from mostly afar) is that the people who vote for Farage don't give a single shit about the money/funding stuff. They think he got one over on the system and on people they hate. And they already knew he was corrupt anyway
