back from a hiatus of sorts. such hospital, some home, then hospital again, much sick. of course it happened (or started) on Fest week. shaking my fist at the sky. kiddo was happy i stayed home but was very sick as well, took out his anger on his tiny drum kit. he's getting better by the day.

being sick isn't pleasant as it is, but being sick as a single parent is for the fucking BIRDS.

THIS! This. absolutely this. i'm in the states (VA) but lived all around and i have to say, rarely in my life have i found a medical professional dedicated to helping me find a cause that took more than one visit. we're lucky if we get meds thrown at us here 😂😂

Yeah - I am convinced that part of the issue is that they aren’t able to take any time to pinpoint the reason or cause and actually work out what’s happening… so docs just throw different meds at people to see what works. I’m in the UK so we have the NHS but even though I want to try a gepant, I

really solid lessons from the past few weeks though: -don't let others rain on your parade -it's not your job to save people who aren't stable, even if it's just with kindness or silence
