Wacom recently asked me to talk about why I make queer comics, and given there are multiple bills right now floating around in congress that are effectively "we will kill your livelihood if we get a sniff of queer" I had some pretty strong, simply feelings to relay.

tired of the "#1 dad" nonsense. if you're a dad, stop treating it like a joke and post your actual national dad ranking. i'm # 492,018, which is actually really high up there, but more importantly it lets me enter ranked dad lobbies where i can get matched up for fistfights with dads of my caliber

dude I specifically asked you NOT to go hard on the soundtrack. it's just a silly game with no artistic merit behind it. I was looking for composers who specialize in mediocrity. get out of my sight and take your "bangers" with you

the struggle of having ever moderated any online community is you now cannot go through any community without being like, oh, they should ban this person. this person hasn't done anything wrong yet but the vibes are off and you should ban the shit out of them.

The AI chatbot in Petit Planet is legitimately worthless. Actively makes the game worse. The in-game guide has a search field for typing and explains everything. The chatbot meanwhile hallucinates false information and doesn't give any information not in the guide. Who is this even for?

Harris accused Altman of being the “Goebbels of the Trump administration.” But on Tuesday, Harris said by email: “It was late and I had a few too many martinis so I misspoke when I said Goebbels… I should’ve said Friedrich Flick.”

God I wish this year would stop kicking my ass, I keep on trying to be positive and focus on trying to turn it around but it feels like every time I try, something out of my control comes out of no where to bite me.

Um, hi. Guess who just got let go! Professionally, for the last year or so I've been writing for Ravel the Frays (store.steampowered.com/app/3499260/...) under Margarita Games, alongside personal projects I've made over on squigglydot.itch.io! If you're looking for a narrative designer, hit me up!

I’ve been in game dev for 26 years and I can’t remember any other time where a specific tech was being insistently and persistently pushed on devs as a group in the public sphere. Why would it? Cui bono? Why would any given dev have an interest in other devs using tech they don’t have a stake in?

My conspiracy theory about genAI in games blowing up more and more by big companies is that they’ve all got a ton of investors insisting they use genAI tools otherwise they(investors) won’t be able to bankroll em anymore
