There’s a very basic fact about healthcare that Collins is trying to erase: She voted to advance a bill with massive cuts and is trying to get credit for restoring a smidgen of the funding. Dems and the press should correct the record. #mepolitics

well, I never expected to be published in a Stanford journal, but the McKnight Foundation asked me write my thesis to the philanthropic world after the MN ICE surge: when there is an emergency, just... give money to people on the ground doing the actual work. as fast as possible. radical, I know.

As I said the other day - this story is very much revealing how little folks understand the massive reach and influence of agribusiness and how the food chain works. Framing the story around taco bell is a good ex of news coverage failing to give us the info we need about our corporate food system.

Flock cameras lead to a man being falsely pulled over this week. That man happened to be automotive journalist Joel Feder who has now declared that he wants to dig deep into Flock cameras. This is why I know we will win, because people will always be radicalized towards progress by injustice.

After multiple murders by ICE/CBP, Ds refused to provide additional $$ for them w/out reforms & oversight. Rs were opposed to reform and unilaterally provided more $$ through reconciliation. Now ICE has enough to run at 4x capacity through 2029 — w/ LESS oversight than before. This is the result.
