Almost started crying when the city started to mow down an area by us that had been left wild, saw a bunny running away for its life. 😭 Thankfully my partner went out to talk to them and they stopped. I hate suburban culture mowing everything down, it’s not “overgrown”. Let a little nature thrive.

Been reading 1st hand accts/case studies on jellyfish types+stings/neurotoxins. Jellyfish are terrifying! I came across a vid of someone trying to rescue (!!!) a Portuguese man o' war (not a jellyfish but mistaken for one) & put it back in the water only to be severely stung. Just wow. Wow wow wow.
sojo⚜️@sojo83.bsky.social · 4w agoDays ago, I was in Costa Rica on a remote beach at the bottom of a jungle cliff. I had an allergic reaction to a jellyfish sting (1st time ever getting stung.) We called 911, consulted w a doctor & EMS came. I was shocked it was free. They asked how much this would cost in the US & I just laughed.
