Unterschreibt!

"Changing society's relation to nature more broadly remains a worthy project" (206). This by @ueberdruss.bsky.social is a brilliant Marxist analysis of energy history that deserves its place alongside Malm, Mitchell and other classics of the last couple decades.

I'll present some work-in-progress on a synthesis between feminist critical political economy and the new planning debate.
Our next online talk will be happening on Thursday 18th June from 3:30PM-5PM, where @christophsorg.bsky.social will discuss the relationship between democratic economic planning, social reproduction, communal care, reproductive work and gender relations. www.indep.network/event/indep-...
Tooze is the rare historian who thinks we can learn nothing from history, and that’s why I like it
Without wanting to reopen the Anderson fracas, what makes Tooze compelling - and perhaps partly so restless - is that he kind of wishes he was a sociologist. A historian who is obsessed with the unprecedented today. open.substack.com/pub/adamtooz...
