expanding on this thought, I feel like a lot of porn artists have become reliant on like, popularized hentai symbols instead of learning the actual anatomy and what's erotic about it. Like, they don't draw tongues or armpits anymore, they draw these weird pussy-esque tongues and armpits

MLP donut buttholes did generational amounts of damage to porn artists' brains, like bro why are you drawing this on your human milf character

Talking about how the surgical method for trans surgeries didn't include the reconstruction of a clitoris until relatively recently because surgeons thought female sexuality was just penetration does more to create solidarity between old school feminists and trans women than any genderbread man ever

Having worked on the transphobic myths around vaginoplasty it always strikes me how when I describe the surgical technique in a conference the average reaction is not "Ugh gross disgusting mutilation" but instead "Science is crazy we can do that???!"

american hegemony currently preserved not through the efforts of the americans themselves but by everyone else hoping it all goes back to normal. trump 2 so far defined by gradual erosion of this: fewer countries responding with "i know this is not in your heart" to yank antics

Lumen confirms that it was Amnesty International that sent the DMCA strike. I will be contesting it as this document is a matter of public debate and abusing copyright in this manner to censor it is absolutely disgusting. What complete cowards.

A screenshot of a "DMCA (Copyright) Complaint to Google" page. The sender is listed as Amnesty International UK, sent on August 19, 2026. The description outlines a copyright claim regarding two documents, "Like a Snowball" and "A Growing Threat," which the sender states were published in error without completing internal review and do not reflect official positions. The complaint targets two allegedly infringing Google Drive URLs.

This shit is why you can't separate continuing to financially support the Harry Potter IP (whether by buying the games, merch, watching the new TV show when its out) from the consequences of what JK Rowling does with that money She's become so stiflingly powerful that even private docs arent safe

I've never seen such an effort to censor a document as I have the Amnesty International report on gender critical groups because of JK Rowling. They removed the report from the Wayback Machine and now I got a DMCA strike on my Google Drive for having it. It was deleted and removed from my account.

A screenshot of an email viewed in dark mode with the subject line "Google DMCA Violation." The email from Google informs the recipient that they have received a notification under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) that some of their materials allegedly infringe on copyrights. It explains the removal process, mentions that notice details will be posted on Lumen, warns against repeated violations, and lists one affected Google Drive URL at the bottom

i feel pretty much the same now except i do think that we should shame the people who insist that cozy pastel whatever is inherently better and nicer. it’s actually not okay to insist that your media be soft and nice and non-threatening
