The ink ran out on my Canon printer, so now I can't use its scanning functions. Of course. Does anyone have any suggestions for printer/scanner brands which don't do things like this? The printer I used in the 90s was SO much better than anything produced in the last 20 years :/

I really like making little games as gifts for people, and this year I'm going well-outside of my comfort zone for my wife's upcoming birthday—I've learned just enough to get something running on real Game Boy hardware! It's surreal and beautiful to witness my creations on this screen!

Map Map is shaping up to be one of my games of the year! You use real cartography skills to plot locations on island maps—it's incredibly rare to experience puzzles with such open-ended solutions!
