Ended a 5 year long DnD5e campaign last night! It was Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden. I learned a lot about being a DM, world building, narrative structure, and encounter design in this campaign. I'm very thankful to have played with a bunch of great friends and their characters!
Finished up my first ever DnD module campaign last night. It's crazy how attached you get to the players, characters, the story, etc. I'm seriously bummed that it's over, but it just means it resonated and now I can just look forward to the next adventure. @spawts.bsky.social was amazing as a DM!
Aside from the trying-not-to-slip-on-the-unsalted-snow bit, running in the snow is peaceful.
