Just watched Ken Sim's news conference about the lies he told about Sean Orr (and, via Lenny Zhou, about all non-ABC councillors) We are one press conference and a media availability in, yet no closer to answers or accountability. Sim took three questions and bolted from the mic 🧵
This isn't the first time that Ken Sim has been involved in a smear campaign against @seanorr.bsky.social. Sean's interview is worth a listen - for its honesty, grace, and concern for the public who are harmed by Sim's dirty tricks IMO we need more humanity like Sean's in politics. Solidarity.

Vancouver council getting off to a great start today as ABC cllr Klassen, on behalf of Cllr Montague, rules out of order Cllrs Fry and Orr's motion to keep ICE out of Vancouver during FIFA. Rationale: ICE says they aren't coming and we can totally believe them. Really.

After Cllr Lenny Zhou is caught publishing defamatory libel, manufacturing falsehoods accusing us of being drug users/dealers and fomenting ugly divisive rhetoric --this statement is not an apology, it's not even an excuse. Zhou, communicating solely to media, while mayor so far fails to disavow.
