You gotta view The Punisher’s presence in BND through the scope of Tom Holland and Jon Bernthal’s relationship. They both auditioned for their roles in the MCU together. Jon filmed Tom’s audition. They’ve been in multiple movies together and now they finally get to be in this universe together.
