In St Mary the Virgin's Church, Woodford, Northamptonshire a preserved human heart was discovered in a pillar during restoration work. Some suspect it belonged to a monk, whose ghost has been sighted in the church and, apparently, photographed by holidaymakers in the 1960s. #spookysunday #folklore

#SpookySunday Bramshill House is one of many claiming the legend of the Misletoe Bough. A bride joins in a game of hide & seek on her wedding night. Shutting herself in an oak chest she is trapped. Years later she is found in her wedding dress, holding the misletoe. Her ghost still haunts the house

The UB-65 was a WW1 German U boat well known for being cursed and said to be haunted by the Second Officer who was killed by an exploding torpedo whilst being loaded. He was seen on deck by a terrified seaman. A second seaman said he was being chased by him and jumped into the sea. #SpookySunday
