I've been working on this for over a year: I'm remaking all of Ocarina of Time's prerenders in 3D, trying to match the N64 style rather than the 3DS one. The provisional name is OoT unJPEG. It will be distributed as both a romhack that runs on real N64 hardware and a mod for Zelda 64 Recompiled.

Much agreed. And it feels to me similar to the "school never taught me anything useful" people. The ignorant and incurious thinking that because they can't see the point one does not exist. We can talk about how and why you missed the lesson... but sometimes the lesson was there.

Finally saw the Spider-Man and it was good. The other MCU Spider-Men always sort of felt like the Spider-Man line of sidequests in an Avengers game, but this was a Spider-Man ass Spider-Man movie, despite still having many major connections to the wider universe it's in.
I'm generally not as bullish on Mystical Ninja starring Goemon as other folks are, but it really might just be the best third party N64 game

The new X-Men cast is young, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Storm, and Rogue are in their mid-20s, exciting choice. With the legacy cast in Doomsday, I hope this puts the Synger-verse style in the past. That specific aesthetic is poisoned by reality, but also it has been driven into the ground artistically
