It is wild to me how many (very accomplished!) people say they "have a Substack" when what they have is an email newsletter. There isn't anything in the Substack offerings worth tying your work to that brand.

Trump doesn’t force people to do bad things. All he did was show people they could get away with being horrible if they really wanted to, and a lot of powerful people decided they didn’t need to pretend anymore. Especially those in influential positions who could push back but did not.

The ban is heinous for what it does to transgender athletes. But if you think cisgender girls and young women won’t be caught up in the fallout, too, you are woefully ignorant

I think every politician who proposes to ban anything on the internet for teens should be required to propose, as an alternate, a free and accessible and all weather space for teens to hang out in their own hometown

I tried it! Pretty good, not super out-there. A few liquor stores carry it. Found out in the GA Tech Alumni magazine which is delivered to my home despite me not being a GA Tech Alumni 🤷 (haven't stopped them because I keep finding something interesting)

This guy thinks bc his family put down money for the Beltline he gets more of a say than the 100k+ Atlantans that voted on the More MARTA referendum, pay taxes, & live & work here each day. We need to stop letting corporate billionaires run our city or nothing will ever change.
