I am a resident of District 2. One of my elected representatives was photographed texting someone who fed him lines he said in a council meeting. His office refuses to produce records of that communication. They say these records don’t exist.

One time we got scammed by a fake cab at Sox Park and the cops told us there was nothing they could do even though we had his plate number, his name, and his address, and he'd scammed so many other people HE HAD BEEN ON THE NEWS

I'm sorry but if the Chicago Police can't catch credit card parking scammers then they truly deserve to be defunded and replaced by someone who can actually produce justice. There's a traceable electronic record of the crime. The police just are not trying. blockclubchicago.org/2026/08/31/5...

First of all, his company is gonna implode when this bubble pops. He’s part of the dumbest and most obvious over-valuation of all time. Secondly, it’s nice of him to make it so clear why we should just take all of their money. There should not be people with this amount of money, period.

It's not until he says the magic words, that he fears losing control, that it fully clicks. It's not that he believes philanthropy is bad, it's that the risk of someone receiving his money who he doesn't approve of is a bigger problem than the risk that his money helps no one. That speaks volumes.
