Isn't it weird that this week a currently sitting president had to pay a woman MILLIONS of dollars for *raping* (and defaming) her—and the media has forgotten all about it? There was a time that this would have been the ONLY story—until the rapist was driving from office.
We need to think about document preservation when our government officials are actively stripping transparency processes and safeguards. Thank you to @thelocal.to for saving these and making them accessible.

I was giddy listening to the NASA stream for 10 hours straight, but this was my face the second I heard his voice over the comms. Imagine having a few minutes to talk to these astronauts and not having *any* comments or questions beyond what you were given in your prepared media lines? Brutal.

Right before going dark, pilot Victor Glover spoke about the importance of loving one another. The crew showed us what that looks like as they cried & hugged over a loss, and when they later shared their wonder & excitement at these new discoveries. So grateful to follow this. After watching the rocket launch, the juxtaposition between the sense of communal wonder and hope that I felt with so many of my fellow humans, and the feelings of utter rage and dread that this news brings me now is almost incomprehensible. What are we doing? What is this cursed timeline?
