Just putting it there: the last week has shown how Bluesky has grown into the most reliable, noise-, bot- and BS-free resource for anyone interested in football governance and politics. The coverage of Fifa's and Infantino's debacle has been fantastic. Size isn't everything.

This perspective of the #climateCrisis we are facing is front and centre for all of us, especially for those whose young children will be experiencing an even worse future. That being said, seeing the existential threat from #Trump on #Canada I don't judge #Carney as he does 3D chess to save us.

Bordeaux, France, has now recorded more days above 40°C in 2026 alone than during the entire 105-year period from 1920 (when observations began) to 2025. This is deeply shocking.

Five North Cowichan Fire Deartment members, along with two trucks, are now in the Interior supporting BC Wildfire Service. The crews will be working with the many other fire departments from the Island and across the province as they aim to get the upper hand with the blazes currently burning.

I know I say it all the time, but a lot of pedestrian/micro-mobility conflicts arise due to lack of infrastructure or infrastructure that puts a lot of people into slivers of space not taken from cars. Will there always be assholes? Yup, but giving everyone more space will make things a lot safer.
