Everything NBA, some sad Hornets, a smattering of other stuff. Same Statcenter but with a bigger wingspan.

One thing that's been definitively proven by both the Warriors and the Cavs: In the second apron era, Two Timelines is a fairy tale. If you're close to a title, go for it now, and worry about later later.

Bonus Hollander POTD Rick Fox. UNC SF drafted 24th by BOS in 91. Steadily developed into starter quality player. Put up peak of 15.4 ppg in 96-97 then signed w/LAL & was key player for Kobe/Shaq titles. Retired in 04 at age 34. Bio disses his college major for no reason.

🚨NEW WORDS ALERT🚨 The Lakers made some *splashes* today! I am intrigued by the individuals; I also have some questions about the collective. They’ve added talent, but what does it *mean*, really? sports.yahoo.com/nba/article/...

Lakers' big questions: How about all those moves? Do they make L.A. a contender now?

The Lakers are certainly trying to build around Luka Dončić and Austin Reaves, but does all this make sense?

Some quick thoughts: 1. You just can't trade LaMelo to MIN without getting either Jaden or Rudy. That's unfathomable. 2. Yeah, they're going to either generate a massive trade exception or get some more crumbs added in as this trade grows. Yay? MIN isn't paying for that. (1/x)

1. I don't think most fans understand how good LaMelo was last season. By EPM, he slotted in right between Cade + Brunson. 2. I still wouldn't be shocked if he's traded, bc he's eligible for an extension, and I could see this ownership / GM being reluctant to go there.
