I’ve been busy removing myself from Meta products. Data was downloaded & everything is scheduled for deletion.🎉 I hate what FB + Insta became & are becoming. I will however miss all the wonderful connections I made on them. Social media is great because of people & that seems to have been lost.

We have tiles like this in our bathroom and when i’m in the shower or bath I love to relax my eyes and brain and find characters in the pattern. There is a fox with a cape, a t-rex, yoda, mythical birds, deers, tigers and an owl. Every time I discover something new.

Our female cat will generally ignore you if you talk to her & will happily do her own thing. However if I start recording a voice note to a friend she will be on me within 30 seconds. Tonight she was ignoring me & hiding under a chair so I pretended to do a voice note. She came over immediately!

I’m taking a gamble & have bought my non reading brother a book for Xmas. He recently really enjoyed a tv adaption of one of the authors books that was true to the book. So I have bought him the first book in a series that this author said will never be adapted. 🤞🏻 he might give it a go.

You really just need to give the right book to a non-reader. That's the hard part. Knowing which one will hook them.

I have read everyday for 1000 days now 🎉 For a decade I wasn’t well enough to either read at all or only sparsely. It’s so nice to be in a position again where I can pick up a book and read daily. 🥰 In those 1000 days I have managed to read 90.5 books. #bookSky #reading #chronicillness

I played The Exit 8 today 2 months after reading the book & I was completely engrossed by it. For such a simple short game it pulls you in completely & several times I felt very on edge as I navigated that subway station corridor. One of my fav gaming experiences for sure. #gaming #indiegames

Banjo fan here. Banjo Kazooie is one of the best 3D platformers I’ve ever played. A top 3 N64 game for me. Few games like it. I am perfectly fine without a new game in this era of layoffs and corporate meddling. There are tons of other games I can play anyways.

Game studios shouldn't be allowed to have an "ultimate edition" if it doesn't include all future DLC. "Ultimate" literally means "the greatest extreme: maximum" As in EVERYTHING. Releasing an Ultimate Edition then releasing new stuff that isn't in it? False advertising, far as I'm concerned.

Book 23 of 2026 is ‘Kindred’ by Octavia E. Butler. I watched the series based on this book last month and it ended on a cliff hanger. Then they cancelled it 😞 Apparently the series covers about a 3rd of the book so I’m looking forward to finding out what happened. #BookSky

It turns out you feel less fatigued if you can breathe properly! I have had on and off sinus issues for 2 years or so and currently i’m on some meds for it. I can now breathe properly through my nose again. 🎉 My energy levels are so vastly different because of this. Existing feels easier.

I wanted to buy my friend 7 books for their Birthday but I can’t afford that so I tried to source them second hand to see if that would make them more affordable. It didn’t! The second hand books were the same price as new from Waterstones! WTF is going on?

I feel that if game developers cannot count on keeping a job after a game ships they should at least get residuals. To me this is a moderate position.

I’ve been scratching my head as to why I received an e-mail saying our custom domain e-mail addresses had been disabled. It baffled me because I had set it all up correctly. Turns out someone who shall not be named reset everything with the domain provider. All my work was erased! It’s now fixed.
