I’m not gonna act like Jean Grey was innocent in BND, but if you say nothing about Damage Control’s nonsense or outright claim “Stryker was right” and “we need Sentinels actually”, I think that says more about YOU than it does about Jean.
It goes without saying but just in case: You absolutely do not have to hand it to JK Rowling. Even if she DID mean what she says about trans adults (which she doesn't, she is constantly attacking trans adults just trying to live their lives) it doesn't mean anything given the HARM she has caused
The fact that HBO compelled even this lukewarm non-apology out of one of the modern world's proudest and more powerful bigots means that her hatred is actually affecting their bottom line.

FOR CONTEXT in the book it was used in one image by one artist, obviously not every piece made for the movie makes the book, but it being the only one is telling that it was probably just This Guy and not a widespread thing still sucks tho!! hit that guy with hammers.
