My favorite wannabe solopreneur influencer move I've been seeing lately is reels filmed as if they're being interviewed for a podcast but they never ever show an interviewer actually asking them the question they're responding to. Because it's a fake interview lmao

Funny to see statues of the Trojan Horse for Odyssey photo ops and even popcorn bucket souvenirs of the thing and know the thematic and symbolic equivalent for Oppenheimer would've been the literal Fat Man atomic bomb

One thing about Nolan's Odyssey is that every character is actually in their own genre of story. Odysseys is obvi on THE odyssey/homecoming journey. Penelope is in a romantic tragedy. Telemachus is doing coming of age. Pattinson's Antinous, meanwhile, is literally doing Love Island

I'm reading Royal Assassin by Robin Hobb and I can't put it down but also FitzChivalry despite all his badassery is so PAINFULLY fifteen years old. Every twenty pages or so I want to reach in, shake him and yell at him in very plain English everything he's not noticing

What I will say about Dungeon Crawler Carl is that I have not read it and will not read it and if you like it godspeed but nothing I've ever heard about it has surprised me in any way because I feel like I actually already have read it but as a webcomic in 2005
