Wow the Ryanair app (that you have to download because they won't send boarding passes in PDF) is next level anxiety inducing. They notify you for any crap but you are also scared to switch them off in case there is an actually important one 😡 I usually avoid them, but, no choice this time.

Manual activity of the week: my Pikachu luggage needed a Pikachu keychain 😅 That flower is absolutely a gift from another pokemon, but I won't name names because their romance deserves privacy 💜

News from the "gaming with vestibular disorder" world: I tried my first VR game today, 55 min, zero motion sickness. I am super surprised and super happy. You have to understand that I get nauseous after 10min of Spyro the Dragon 😅 So, Atlantis LBRV, yes. Parallax on your site: NOPE!

Haaa, the sidequests... in order to update my PHP version I had to update WO, but, also, apparently my Ubuntu version. Happy to report the whole stack of my blog is up to date and running (hopefully?). That was, an adventure. I prefer to get flowers for NPCs, honestly less scary!

I absolutely love that as an adult I'm part of many book cults, including one with a talking cat shooting magic missiles, and another one where my friends want to gather for a weekend that we shall spend reading the next book in the Massverse while also talking about what happened in the Empyrean 😅

I'm running a free online 1 hour accessibility webinar in September! Catching accessibility issues in mockups is cheaper than fixing them in code. I'll cover how to check your mockups, documentation examples and you will get plenty of resources to help. 📅 Tue, Sept 1, 2026 · 19:00 CEST

Spotting Accessibility Issues Early — Online Workshops

Accessibility is not only a developer problem, it's team work! And many issues can already be spotted, prevented, and documented during the design phase. In this 1-hour webinar, Stephanie Walter will show designers and open-minded curious developers how to review mockups for common accessibility issues.

Another episode of "I don't understand how this Adobe error message is even possible". I created the file yesterday, I only have one account, but today, I can't access it because the account I have created the file with, doesn't have access to, said file. Fun. It was working fine yesterday, obvs!

Error message from Adobe Illutrator saying that the account I signed up with doesn't have access to this file and I need to contact the owner for more info.

"what were the 2000s like?" they were just this. nintendo sold a tribal tattoo game console and it came with a winamp skin

Hehe grinding my wait to the top with my Queen and Goddess Soraka this season! Pro tip if you play with me: I will burn my mana to keep you alive, but also I will happily watch you die if you insult me, especially after YOU make a bad move that got you killed and there was nothing I could have done

Screenshots from League of Legends Wild Rift showing Soraka ranked on Server 16, with a top 16 leaderboard badge, current score 6364, 33 total games, 69.7 percent win rate, and Soraka character artwork with the Immortal Journey skin

I'm reading the Soul Fraud series and I have to admit.. Spoilers the second book where a human with very limited skills ends up in the fae realm and needs to choose which fae season princess he will marry due to a pact worth the fae queen is making me chuckle a lot. Reverse trope hahaha 🤣

An now, for my next trick, we will answer the CSS questions everyone had for years: how to center horizontally. Like, really, 100 different ways. Some are quite hacky, but, still, fun to explore just to test the limits of CSS, hehe Tool made by @css-only.dev css-generators.com/center/

The case for an accessibility designer vibe coding when all his coworkers are also vibe coding (10min) I understand @ericwbailey.website’s conflict here: having ethical issues with LLMs, while being pushed to work with them on a professional level to vibe code is a complicated position.

Am I letting my own personal beliefs and biases affect the outcome I ultimately want?.
