Resident Evil is phenomenal as a pure exercise in the physical logistics of action — for horror, for comedy, for excitement — the blocking, framing, timing, the design of each moment; perfect. It’s The Thing via Die Hard, but slapstick. A genius approach to the material.
I spend huge amounts of money and time on games, but I am also 100% the world's worst customer, just so inconsistent and erratic and prone to all kinds of nonsense. You should never make games for me! (And that is a good, good thing)
🥽 The Steam Frame headset is mostly a fan service, rather than a breakthrough that can revive a shrinking VR category. Okay, that's a bit unfair. The Steam Frame does represent genuine technological leaps for XR hardware, but its impact will sadly be limited. 🧵👇
