Duncan Jones somehow hasn’t made a movie in eight years. He’s back with ROGUE TROOPER, an independent animated film that just premiered at TIFF. I asked him why he’s been gone for eight years, why it’s difficult to get a “Duncan Jones movie” made, and why he refuses to use AI

Duncan Jones on Why It’s ‘Harder Than Ever’ to Make His Kind of Movies (and Why He Refused to Use AI for His Newest One)

It took almost a decade for the "Moon" filmmaker to get his animated adaptation of "Rogue Trooper" off the ground. One shortcut he won't take? AI.

people get intimidated by the social belief of "supporting the arts" as like donating $5,000,000 for a new wing at a museum or hosting some gala it's not. 10% of our audience throwing us $1.00 a month would literally be *life-changing* money most artists are in the same boat.

-Thread- UK comic friends: I’ve been researching EU customs fees following the new IOSS rules that came into play on July 1st. I used Royal Mail’s Click & Drop service to price up a 24 page floppy comic (94 grams) to share how much more you should now expect to pay in postage. Brace yourselves…
