Finally finished Adrian Tchaikovsky's "City of Last Chances". That was a dense read, which is weird because the chapters are fairly brief and usually encapsulate a single character's POV or action in the broader story. Maybe it's just the "chewy" way Adrian writes. I'm hoping the next book isn't.

I find it wild that pro-AI people are trying to convince the world that AI datacenters are a fundamental societal need, on par with valuable infrastructure like hydro-electric dams, waste-dumps, and highways.

Kingdom Come : Deliverance. A game full of knightly honor and Christian virtue - which you are 100% punished for even trying to pursue. 3/10 Game BUT Being an absolute bastard, using nightfall to assassinate your foes, poison their wine, and stealing their shit? 8/10 Game

AI continues to burn down everything it was trained on, as it did with people handling questions on stack overflow or writing tutorials. it's not just stealing everything ever to resell, it's permanently messing up ways people did things without it. won't have enough updated info to steal in 5 years
