Lindsay Graham was, I think, one of the most contemptible figures in US politics, a titan of respectable bipartisan foreign policy for years who displayed no principles, no insight, and no beliefs beyond a gleeful and vicarious love of violence. That’s funny, because Nate Swanson, who used to be the point guy on Iran at the NSC but got fired because of Laura Loomer, warned of this in an article written four days before the war started. It was called “Why Iran Will Escalate.”

Both the clinic and the school were once part of the base. The school was walled off between 2013 and 2016. The clinic was separated in 2024. "There are 1000s of targets across Iran," he said. Targeting teams are supposed to update them but "it's possible that the target didn't get updated."
