Most of the coolest job postings I've seen are on USA Jobs, it just sucks that it takes upwards of a year to hear back from any of these applications. Oh well, the CCP persists, therefore so must I.

Other job posting that I had a lead for and a solid reference list in the application just rejected me. 500+ applications, 4 interviews, god knows how much networking, references, and nothing I'm out of gas at this point man. Maybe next admin ill find something, but Im out.
These numbers seem sus. The delivery schedule for USAF in 2025 was 525+ JASSM-ERs, which would have brought the total inventory to 2935~ JASSM-ERs delivered by Jan 2026 (so pre-war inv in reality is 635 higher). The delivery plan for 2026 is 600~ JASSM-ERs and 150~ LRASMs.

The largest silver lining from the ICE tragedies of the past few weeks is that the people that took their mask off will never be able to put it back on after their people lose power and influence. It is a mark of shame (at best) they will carry for the rests of their lives.

Quick explainer for those not used to how naval cost estimates (when done well) work in a “cost-by-weight” model (which has issues I’ll get to). Before I get into it, I’ll preface that these numbers look reasonable, especially for how immature DEFIANT’s detailed design definitely is.

Thesis has been accepted by the graduate college. All thats left is for the library to accept my submission into their internal repository. I'm offically done Grad School.
Since China is becoming a nuclear peer and is keen on having a diverse and well built strategic deterrent and since I believe they'll be eager to use nuclear coercion during a conflict we should probably develop a new theory nuclear warfighting for the Pacific and fund capability
Nothing constructive to say about the worst National Security Strategy in this great nation's history. What is there to comment on? It reads like a 10th grader wrote it, it gargles Trump's balls for 5 or 6 pages, and it might as well come out and say the 14 words in some sections. What a disgrace.
I don't even have much to say. This was a good vessel, the USN panicked at the slightest hint of delays and now is killing the program. There has not been a single vessel in US Navy service that hasn't been redesigned, delayed, and had some cost overruns in the last 60~ years.
John Ridge 🇺🇸🇺🇦🇹🇼@johnridge.bsky.social · 9mo agoThis is the stupidest and most self-destructive USN procurement decision in at least a decade. Constellation was a relatively healthy program and progressing on a realistic budget and schedule, mostly baseless criticism of it notwithstanding.
50 bucks that we're gonna outsource M/LUSV to accelerate and expand the program to """replace""" Constellation, and it will go terribly and end up causing M/LUSV to be effectively canceled as well
