For Yomu it’s a bit of a relief and can also sting depending on phrasing - on the one hand it’s nice that the first impression isn’t “scary lizard.’ On the other, oof that imposter syndrome be hitting “thought youd be taller” is extremely funny because they’re 7’2”

I have been toying with the idea of having the SAM quests start for Yomu post Ifrit - until coming to Eorzea the only swordmanship study they had was from their ronin father. While recovering from the Ifrit fight is when they meet Musosai and start more formal training.

Do they happen in parallel to the MSQ? All at once during stretches of down time? During the expansion the job was added?
