Its not a hot take but man the way the word "content" is used these days. A vile bit of late stage capitalist propaganda, lumping all forms of human creativity and expression into a single wastebin teaching the public to treat all art as disposable.

like... to state the obvious, creating is a creator's job. it's literally your skillset to obsess over the details that will often go unnoticed to make sure it's done well. I don't think about the difference of millimeters of screws that makes the pipes in my bathroom work, but I expect a plumber to

too ill and immune compromised to go to the cinema, so I'll just have to keep accidentally absorbing every person I know's opinion about the odyssey until my mind is perfectly made up months before it hits streaming

Is it a coincidence that liminal horror is beating Baby Yoda at the box office in the age of hyperscale data centres and ICE detention warehouses? In a word: no. But Kickstart Skrawl 3 to read me say that in more words! Plus: hauntology, hostile architecture, SUVs, QR codes and more!

part of why I don't like AI is bc it's so often the antithesis of caring for the little things, the appreciation of the mundane, of seeing beauty where others haven't yet been able to, and seeking genuine fundamental understanding all in the name of "get product faster" I find it so disheartening

in 2019 I illustrated a TAZ game for the McElroys and Twogether, so a fun element of the graphic novels is noticing times Carey drew the same specific podcast stuff stuff I did (I'm british so don't rly know what olive garden, luna bars or costco are &... thought it'd be funnier not to look it up)

drawing of an ominous shining card that just says 'unlimited pasta pass' with a rosette of an eye on it. I just looked up what the olive garden one looks like and it does not look like that

garfield the deals warlock has many fine wares. taako considers them; merle is skeptical

“We’re not asking for permission to be here. We’re playing.” In February, USA Rugby banned transgender women from competing in women's matches. It was, on paper, a massive blow to the Baltimore Ferals, one of hundreds of teams affiliated with International Gay Rugby. Instead, they kept playing.

hello, it's nonbinary people’s day. Did you know I'm an author & illustrator of graphic novels and gamebooks, a nonbinary trans guy, and also: All my published books so far have a genderqueer/ nonbinary main character, or main love interest? they do. here they are #books#IAmNonbinary

photo of me (white, glasses, green hair, scrappy facial hair, dressed like a hobbit) in the sun in front of a bookshop, holding up my new bookillustrated cover of 'into the tower: a choose your own path book' by Hari Conner. A ridiculously tall tower circled in clouds seen from above with a stone medeival city below, and a big jagged colourful strip in the middle with weird magic stuff like flying ships and Creatures

Three teens in regency outfits sit on the grass, one is Black with a high-neck yellow striped dress, holding a teacup dreamily. The other two are white, almost-holding hands, one in a blue dress and the other in a skirt but more gender ambiguous jacket and shirt.
