Cannon by Lee Lai. Holy shit I was a mess on finishing this. One of the best comics I have read. It means so much to read a story that gets the precarities of queer freindships and loneliness. Lai is using such a carefully restrained set of comicmaking tools, and to devastating effect.

An unexpected outcome of my month long residency in Iceland was making larger drawings in pencil. This was my second drawing made using eight sheets backer board taped together. It was inspired by my love of how rich and green the moss gets around streams and sources of water.
