Our movement has been all over Greater Manchester this weekend, delivering thousands of leaflets for our brilliant candidate Geraldine Coggins. Affordable housing for all - not rip off flats in the centre. Labour has failed. Only the Greens can take on and beat Reform.
Politicians who fanned these flames should hang their heads in shame. Time and again we've seen this story play out. Single incidents used to fuel a far right narrative - and communities across the nation paying the price.

Peter Walker@peterwalker99.bsky.social · 3mo agoWith the full caveat that social media is not life, the sheer viciousness of many replies and quotes feels striking. People saying Ramsay and others should be "purged", and utterly dismissing any cooperation with other parties. It's a long way from the Greens of the "progressive alliance".
I think most of the public are horrified that MPs continue to defend the idea they can get drunk at work and then go to vote. Lots of people work hard. It's incredibly out of touch from Labour MPs in particular.

A ruling party using public resources to to influence an election to increase their grip on control.

I have just discovered that Cllr Kemkaran is spreading doubt and conspiracy theories about Covid-19 vaccinations. This is from the Guardian: "Linden Kemkaran, who runs Kent county council, suggested in September that the party should hold an inquiry into whether Covid vaccines were linked to cancer, even though there is no medical evidence to back up the notion." It is truly appalling for someone who has no noted medical qualifications to use her platform to spread such misinformation and doubt.
