Always yelling about Texas politics, Yungblud, and how Bucky Barnes deserved better. [Sub Radio voice] I just wanna make it plain for you: whatever your gender is I'm gay for you.

I have no skin in Michigan's game, but I'm ready to bellow "what would we do if we treated all our kids like they were all of our kids?" with my whole chest
El-Sayed: "My commitment to Jewish safety is the same commitment that I have to the safety of my own daughters. Because if there is one question of political philosophy that ought to animate us all, it's what would we do if we treated all our kids like they were all of our kids?"
Abdul El-Sayed has never held elected office and just won the primary for a senate seat in the biggest battleground state in the country by beating a congresswoman who was endorsed by the current Senator, Governor, and Schumer & the DSCC while being outspent over 10 to 1. That win is plenty big.
Progressives didn’t get the big election night they wanted
Are you normal, or are you in the group chat hypothesizing about how Ilya Rozanov would react to Buc-ees at 10:30pm?
Texas Republicans know this is the year they lose unless they take active measures to suppress the vote. So that's what they're doing.
Lon Burnam, a former state lawmaker representing Tarrant County from 1997 to 2015, was carried out of the room by four sheriff deputies, who held him by his hands and feet: fortworthreport.org/2026/08/04/t...
guys is it normal for majority Hispanic districts in Texas to swing 24 points left in a year and a half

That said, let us take a moment to thank our Bluesky Trans and Furry Elders for freaking out Jack Dorsey so much he bolted and left us this nice social media playground, taking most of his crypto chuds with him. We thank you for your service.
[screeches into the timeline] "Smoothbrain" is the r-slur for people who don't say the r-slur. That's the weapon of the enemy, we do not use it. Okay thx bye. [revs my engine and leaves your timeline]
[pinches nose] I encourage everyone not to say "Trump is starting to" when you mean "the Trump administration lost a court battle that required it to" do things. Trump isn't just doing this. His administration is complying with a court order at LONG LAST.

Crops grown underneath solar panels produce more, require less water and are more resistant to extreme weather, even during a hot, dry summer. We need agrivoltaics to be rolled out asap, for both the electricity and the better growing conditions. microgridmedia.com/solar-panels...

I have to use Claude for work and my acct preferences are a list of sycophantic things I don't want in the responses "Don't say 'great question!' 'fantastic insight!' or any other phrase affirming my intelligence. Give me the thing I need, don't add analysis. Don't talk to me like you're a person."
Admittedly have never used GPT or Claude or any of these but is being told by a plastic box that you are a very clever boy for asking a question really all it takes to make people this happy
i’m never gonna be able to fire a cruise missile yet the question of using my tax dollars for them has never been up for debate
Opinion: Mamdani's idea may sound appealing, but it's NYC taxpayers who will take the hit, subsidizing discounts they may never even use.
This is the abuser’s playbook. Present a bunch of times your victim appeared “happy” and “normal” as evidence you couldn’t be abusive, even though it does nothing to disprove the claims and is in fact the textbook response to abuse, especially when a child is involved.
Rep. Max Miller: "My former wife has claimed that during a custody exchange at my home that day, I assaulted her…If I had assaulted her, would she have offered to cook me dinner six days later?"
This has become a relevant post again
Stop following me. All I do is post Texas politics, Yungblud videos, intricate theories about Bucky Barnes, read-along threads of books from 1960, and stories about my personal life that make everyone say "OOOFF we didn't need to know that"
Sorry for talking about family violence at length on your timeline, please accept this picture of Yungblud as a palate cleanser
I could do an entire thread pointing out every typical abuser argument this guy makes in two minutes, but suffice to say – this guy is *violent* violent.
Rep. Max Miller: "My former wife has claimed that during a custody exchange at my home that day, I assaulted her…If I had assaulted her, would she have offered to cook me dinner six days later?"
One of my old threads is going around again, so fair warning, I'm an old-school bskyer and if you reply to my post with an attitude I will instantly block you. No discourse, no quote-dunk, no reply – into the block bin you go.
The last funny thing from my work trip was my boss meeting me at baggage claim to rave because she got sucked down a rabbit hole on the flight and is now the world's number one Yungblud stan. Other coworker: I need to see a picture of this guy! ....Kelsey did you just hold up your lock screen?
It’s not a slogan. It’s a cause. Abolishing slavery was a cause, and everything that’s written below about prison abolition was written about abolition of slavery. It’s good to have causes, if they are just.
"Abolish Prisons" is a slogan that will immediately turn off 95% of people, regardless of the nuances in the literature. Far more harmful than helpful. The right clearly always wanted to make abortion illegal and punish women who got them. But they didn't make that their slogan! They knew better!
I just spent a lot of hours being pulled into conversations where everyone told me how pretty I am and/or how good I am at my job. So you could say the corporate retreat is going well. "Kelsey is a GENIUS!" "Kelsey is a BEAUTIFUL GENIUS!" ok I agree with all of you, thanks and gig em
It's 7:40 PM the night before I leave town for a work trip, and the spectrum my brain is on has slid hard into ADHD executive dysfunction. I still need to pack and clean my kitchen but that means unloading the dishwasher and I don't want to, but I can't pack until I clean my kitchen
This post made me go, "Oh! Everyone's just arguing with each other about fanfic." Babes, for every obsessively researched canon-compliant fic, the ecosystem also needs a surface-level fic that is just a lot of *fun.* That's just how fandom works, even fandoms for an ancient poem.
You don't actually have to be faithful to the source material. Like, ever. The source material can be turned and twisted and you can see how light reflects off it and bounces if you do this or that, and that gives us a better, richer, more lively understanding of the source material.
