Matthew Shepard was killed and for a while Laramie felt shame collectively. A few years later some folks went back and reinterviewed people, largely the shame was replaced with indifference, lies, and conspiracies. People can see the light for a minute but without help don’t find their way to it.

🧵 I don’t think I’ve ever come across documents that told a story about cops covering their tracks so clearly before. The text messages below tell the story better than any exposition. They sent most of these messages less than a day after they’d killed a man in a mental health crisis with AR-15s.

The messages in which officers Daniel Valencia and Matthew Stewart strategized their reports were part of a longer string of texts that started one hour and 14 minutes after they’d killed Joshua Musselman from more than 100 feet away as he was fleeing into his apartment.

Company posted a new policy that we cannot use AI to generate an analysis of virtually anything. Combined with other policies we’re basically at don’t use it except to search for sources or to find emails in outlook.

I still don’t understand why we have to do this (provide the last four of a card number which is extra complicated for virtual/mobile/phone cards) versus just tapping the card on the inspection device like I’ve done everywhere else.

Sign in a bus that says Four Digits. One easy fare check. If you tapped on with a credit card or a credit card in your mobile wallet be prepared to show the last four digits of your card during fare inspection.

I think the main thing that will happen when the sounders who’ve averaged 30-43k per game previously when they move to a 25k stadium is they will charge more per game particularly events because instead of massively increasing capacity it will be limited below today’s average attendance per game

Obamacare covers a lot of High Deductible plans which cover $0 outside of “preventative” items (for example an annual physical, wherein if you ask a single question about something it may convert to a real dr visit!) where it is literally cheaper to pay out of pocket sometimes for things

Dr Oz: "There are 5 times more people in parts of Obamacare in Florida than live in the state. It's impossible More than a third of people on Obamacare have never used the insurance policy once. If you were gonna pay your hard-earned money to buy insurance, would you ever use it? The answer is yes"
