Realizing that the summer began with all those videos/stories of USA cities welcoming World Cup fans and now it's ending with endless tributes to Dolly, and there's significant overlap in the energy and values at play (be warm, be welcoming, offer a bit of spectacle). A USA worth celebrating.

I've never seen such an effort to censor a document as I have the Amnesty International report on gender critical groups because of JK Rowling. They removed the report from the Wayback Machine and now I got a DMCA strike on my Google Drive for having it. It was deleted and removed from my account.
