Say what you will about Nintendo but they do good stuff and have great customer support. When my house was struck by lightning and fried everything electronic Nintendo replaced my 7 year old Switch for free and threw in some bonus goods. Sony charged me $400 to repair it in warranty.

[Nintendo in Japan] Nintendo is donating 50 million yen to the Japanese Red Cross following the magnitude 6.8 earthquake that occurred in Kumamoto Prefecture on Jul 28. Nintendo will also repair consoles + accessories free of charge for those in the affected area. 🐦 original post
