Shocked to learn that the political party led by pedophiles and dedicated to protecting pedophiles has created a police force filled with pedophiles.
ICE and CBP are full of rapists and child predators. A new report details it in horrific detail.

Hey Florida! Today is primary election day! Make sure you get out to the polls and make your voice heard! 🗳️🗣️
A response to Gail Simone's prompt of "you have just 5 pages to tell the story of a DC and a Marvel character meeting for the first time. Who do you pick?" I would freaking love to see this one. I also linked to another good on in the comments.
Punisher accidentally sent back in time, arrested, put in a chain gang and is chained up with Jonah Hex. They break out, get the bad guy (the corrupt sheriff), save the girl (the sheriff was going to marry her or the city would take her father's farm), and get Frank back to 21st Century NYC.
I reckoned the strip was some 19th Century doctor's piss-poor attempt at putting Jonah's face back together after it got fried off by that red-how tomahawk. He keeps it because it prevents what's left of his face on that side from peeling back worse.
Look, I love Jonah Hex as much as the next fan, but usually his facial scars are drawn as this thin strip of flesh over his mouth and Hex would've chopped that off ages ago.
Is it bad that I can look at this recreation of a panel and know exactly which issue of HEX it came from?

Got an email supposedly from someone at Quirk Books, but investigated before responding because: 1) They addressed me by the wrong name 2) It came from a Gmail account, not a company account Sure enough, 30 seconds on the official site turned up this. Always double-check, kids!

I get a text every week or so, same with emails. Block/Spam/Delete. Guess I should count myself lucky that I'm not getting swamped with 'em.
The fundraising texts you delete are working on someone. It’s infuriating and heartbreaking. An 85yo in Ohio gave more than double the value of his home. A 91yo in an Indianapolis senior facility gave 25K times. The DCCC/DSCC don’t just tolerate the spammers who exploit seniors. They take part.
In case you missed it, Swamp Thing 1989 #4 (or Swamp Thing #91, if'n ya prefer) contained a reference to the Old West adventure featured in Swamp Thing #85. Tom Mandrake's recent renderings of Johnny Thunder, Madame .44, and an elderly Son of Tomahawk look just as good as the ones he did back then!
Because y'all demanded it, they're gonna finally give Jonah Hex Volume 2 the Omnibus treatment! Doesn't drop until June of next year, but it is coming!
Finally! This run of Jonah Hex is the best runs of the 21st Century! Though I don’t know why you wouldn’t mention Man with No Name

Up earlier than I like to be 'cause I'm doing a comic & toy show today. If you're in the St. Clair Shores, MI area, come on by the Bruce Post VFW Hall on Jefferson Ave. between 9-3 and buy some stuff, especially my novel!
Still haven't decided which cover I'll be getting when ol' Jonah hits the stands again, but this one is in the running!

I liked that a good amount of this issue was in actual Spanish. If'n ya can't read it, put the dialogue balloons through Google Translate, it adds to the experience.

Jonah Hex #043 Art by Joe Kubert DC Comics (1980)
She did decent in her role, though I really wish they'd gone full Tallulah Black and scarred her up. This is a Jonah Hex story, which means bad things will happen to good people, and the studio shied away from that.
Megan Fox in Jonah Hex tho
Okay, it's confirmed now: Jonah will be coming back to shelves October 7th in a 6-issue miniseries by Michael Walsh titled "Jonah Hex and the Shadow of Death". The first 4 pages (sans dialogue) are already up for preview, along with the solicit, so that's all I'm basing my comments to follow on. 1/
Some Hex news overshadowed by us finally getting word about the upcoming series (more on that in another post) is that not only are we getting a second Western volume from the DC Finest line, it'll contain the very first reprint of the rare "Zany" Jonah Hex parody!
DC Finest: Western: Requiem for a Gunfighter will reprint a never-before-reprinted Jonah Hex parody story from The Amazing World of DC Comics #13. amzn.to/4yBNQ57
THE BAT'S A CUTE LITTLE ANIMAL: WIGGLES ITS EARS AND EATS WORMS (Evansville Press, Indiana, January 14, 1909)
Didn't really warm up to "Born in the USA" until adulthood (had to get some years in me to understand the anger in it), but "I'm on Fire" clicked with me as a little kid. I think in that case, it was less the subject matter and more the guitar and the image that the words paint in my head. 🎸🎤
"I’m on Fire" was the fourth single from "Born in the U.S.A." and reached No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in April 1985. It remains one of Bruce’s most popular streaming titles, 41 years after its initial success, and continues to find its way to new generations of listeners.
And if'n everybody that follows me buys a copy, I'd greatly appreciate it! susanhillwig.square.site

Mighty Marvel Western no. 3 (Feb 1969) cover by Herb Trimpe with John Verpoorten. The title briefly had this cool logo (I think it only lasted 3 issues) before they chose to highlight the names of the mag’s stars. Nice column of floating heads, too. #WesternComicsMonth
