Just unearthed the notes I took from when I did the University Preparation Program at age 31. Having left school at 15, I was so keeeeen and excited and thrilled to be there. Loved it so much I eventually became a university lecturer. Anyway, it's never too late to go to uni!

A suspected positive case of H5 bird flu has been identified in New South Wales, the state agriculture minister has announced.

Australia: NSW Health warns winter "influenza and RSV cases have risen concerningly". Dr. Kerry Chant stated: "In terms of influenza, we are starting to see an increase" and "it looks like we might see a peak in early August". Meanwhile, she confirmed COVID case activity remains "low" and "stable".

Hubs got the all-clear from the neurologist today after his Transient Global Amnesia episode in February - and now I can exhale.
Getting a bit of length in my hair after 3 years of it being very short. Currently in its "Bagel" phase. No pics of me for the next six months I reckon.
