I published this review yesterday, and it caused a bit of a stir on Twitter. I stand by what I said. A writer lives and dies by their words and I have to call it as I see it. It was suggested that I should have been kinder, but just because you worked hard does not mean you get a free pass.

Writing this game about the history of indigo and block printing has me thinking about the colonisation of medicine. Pharmaceutical patents for herbal preparations then gatekept behind 'health professionals' while outlawed to grow. It started with herbs like indigo 1/2
media literacy is all about finding a balance between critical thinking and surface level enjoyment. too much surface level enjoyment and u become a chud excusing horrible things. too much critical thinking and ull be grasping at straws and will never enjoy any piece of art for the rest of ur life

finished Trine 4 with my mum yesterday, very good level of challenging for a beginner, allowed for a lot of fuck around and find out 😂 we spent the boss fight just running around screaming and button spamming cuz we couldn't figure out the mechanic, so truly a real gamer experience
