Did u know?If you have Ground 🪲 in your soil, celebrate. G.🪲 are top insect predators, feeding on fly eggs/fly larvae/slugs, so it shows you have rich ecosystems; it shows you don't weed/disturb the soil,as G.🪲 need these to move round their habitats; it means you have a pesticide free garden.🌿🌱🇬🇧🌱🌍🪲🙌

The silver washed fritillary evolved to lay its eggs in the bark crevices of oak trees. When the caterpillars hatch, they drop to the ground and seek out dog violet, the plant they evolved to eat. No oak or violet, no silver washed fritillaries. Get it? That's why native species matter: evolution.

Did u know? 🪱 are essential to healthy soil & we would have so much less life on this planet without soil. They recycle organic matter,by taking it down into the soil to eat;their waste is nutrient-rich which feeds the soil; their tunnelling creates air pockets that hold oxygen & water.🪱are 🤗 🌿🌱🇬🇧🌱🌍🪱

Did u know?Nature doesn't need *tidy*,it needs*messy* to live in/feed from/breed in. If you clip/trim this year, don't take it to the tip/burn it,because you're destroying homes/food for countless wild souls. Closed ecosystems are an enlightened way to garden & great fun to practice, too. 🌿🌱🇬🇧🌱🌍🐜🦡🕷️🦎🪱

Did u know? Seed heads, not only look beautiful, they are essential to wildlife friendly gardens. They shelter small souls during cold, wet winter months & they feed birds, like goldfinches when other food is scarce. So don't lop 'em off, leave 'em in situ.....Believe in *brown*. 🤎🌱🌿🇬🇧🌱🌍🐦‍⬛🪲🕷️
