This was almost $50 of groceries. In case you're wondering how Canada is doing right now. (And yes, I know that as a single adult person I don't need to be drinking that much milk, but damn it I prefer milk in bags, not cartons or jugs, as the Lord intended.)

It's amazing to be how many Serious Thinkers™ conceive of junkies as random spawn NPCs, like Aristotle thought rotten meat spontaneously generated maggots. These are people. They need food, housing, and medical care, including mental and physical health. If they can't have that, they have this.

Naomi Klein Facebook post announcing a new substack newsletter. She writes: "Here’s a background on why I launched my Substack. I wanted to nurture a space that is not a one-way download of my ideas into your brains, via polished op-eds. So I created “Patterns” - a place where we can think together, spot connections, and make sense of these turbulent times as a group."

We all have to post as hard as possible about Lindsey Graham's death so we can see who wins by getting cited in an article in the Atlantic about how Bluesky is destroying the fabric of American politics next week.

Big Capy Castaway news is washing ashore soon!!! 🌊🐾👀 Also, can you believe it's National Capybara Appreciation Day?! If you love capybaras as much as we do, keep an eye out for a VERY BIG Capy Castaway announcement from us next week!
