The DoubleFine layoffs hit me hard. They've survived the worst ups & downs of this industry for my entire career, somehow always hanging on & continuing to make their weird, fun little games. I had seen that Signs shot dozens of times in dailies at ILM (with two different versions of the alien), and when I saw it in context, at a crew screening, it still scared the crap out of me.
