If Evil Dead needs to be franchised like all other horror properties, then using it as an avenue in which Sam Raimi can give money to promising indie horror filmmakers to make their own take on the Evil Dead formula is probably the best way to do it
Genre stalwart John Saxon would have been 90 today. A *very* busy actor who bounced between films & TV, he's in such classics as BLACK CHRISTMAS and NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET, and he does a wonderful job in the chilling NIGHT GALLERY episode "I'll Never Leave You - Ever." He died at age 83.
I'm so sick of unreal engine man. Games used to have art direction, and now nearly every big budget spectacle is the same quixel megascan illegibly hyper detailed soulless slurry.
