Netflix co-CEO Greg Peters just told investors that Night School's latest release, Unhinged, became one of its two most successful cloud game launches. Evidently, that wasn't enough to save the studio or its workforce.

it remains injust that executives can just invent financial positions that are decidedly impossible and made up so that "the market" sees a number go up. The injust part is that it requires literal human sacrifices to continue going, and i think we need to strike, now, hard, globally

Are you a game accessibility person/disabled gamer in the LA area? Trying to get a list of local folks I can tap for upcoming in person engagements! (Don’t worry if you aren’t local, there are also opportunities there as well)

One of the difficult lessons I learned over the years was that I needed to find my own identity, stuff that wasn't tied to my work or my "professional self." Not tied to hierarchies, job titles, or what I owed to others. ❤️

I know I don’t owe anyone an explanation but I have made an effort to be less online and less “being a game dev is my personality.” I volunteer at the local historical society. I bartend at a local brewery. I have friends in my town who don’t even know what my day job is or don’t even play games!

Today we had the pleasure of hosting SpecialEffect, as they shared their vast experience in making games more accessible for all, as well as letting us get hands on with their tech. It's always great hearing about the incredible work they do, and how we, as game developers, can support this!
