Western cinema was a fool to let go of the intermission. It's nice to get time for a little cinematic break so you can process.

At risk of sounding conspiratorial, I think Cooper is trying to resist the UK re-establishing ties to the EU because Starmer doesn't want to let go of the poxy "special relationship".
